Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Evergreen Lawndale Spray Foam Insulation website and any work you book with us. By using the site, asking for an estimate or scheduling a job, you agree to them, so please read them before you go further.

If you don't agree with something here, please don't use the site. Instead, get in touch with us and we'll talk it through. You can also start back at our home page or read more about us.

The services we offer

We're an insulation contractor in Lawndale, CA, and we serve homes and businesses in Lawndale and the cities around it. Our work includes spray foam, blown-in and attic insulation, insulation removal, air sealing, crawl space work and vapor barriers.

What's on this site describes our work in general. The scope of your job is whatever your written estimate or contract says, because every attic, crawl space and wall is different, and we only know what yours needs once we've seen it.

Estimates and pricing

We give free estimates at your property, and there's no pressure to book. An estimate is based on what we can see and reach during the visit, such as how much old insulation is already up there, how easy the space is to get into and the materials you choose.

Sometimes we find something once the job is open that nobody could see at the estimate, like soaked or contaminated insulation, damaged framing or buried vents. When that happens, we stop and talk with you before doing any extra work, and nothing is added to your price until you agree to it.

Unless the estimate says otherwise, the price on it holds for a reasonable time. If material costs change a lot before your job is scheduled, we'll tell you and update the estimate before we start.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll agree on a start date and a rough timeline with you. Weather, material delivery and what we find on site can move that schedule, and we'll keep you posted if it changes.

On the day, we need clear access to the work area, such as the attic hatch, the crawl space opening or the garage. Some products, spray foam in particular, need everyone, including kids and pets, out of the house for a set time. We'll tell you how long before the job starts, and we ask that you follow it, because it's there for your family's safety.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at (424) 528-1317 as early as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered materials made for your job or after work has started, you may owe for those materials and for the work already done. Any cancellation rights California law gives you still apply.

Payment

The payment amount, any deposit and when each payment is due are set out in your written estimate or contract. Please pay by the dates listed there.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's settled. We'll always reach out to you first before doing that, because most late payments are a simple mix-up.

Warranties and what we don't promise

We stand behind our work, and any written warranty for your job will be in your contract. Materials also carry their own manufacturer warranties, and those are handled under the manufacturer's terms, not ours.

We can't promise a set drop in your power bill or a set temperature in any room, because those depend on things outside our work, such as your heating and cooling system, windows, how you use the house and the weather. Apart from any written warranty in your contract, our work and this website are provided as they are, to the extent the law allows.

The information on this site is general and may not fit your house. Talk with us before you rely on it for a decision about your home.

Limits on our liability

To the extent California law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost income or problems caused by conditions in your house that existed before we arrived and that we weren't hired to fix. Our total responsibility for any claim tied to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law doesn't allow a business to limit.

If something goes wrong

If you're unhappy with any part of our work, call us at (424) 528-1317 or reach us through our contact page first. Most problems get sorted out quickly once we come back out and look at it together.

If we can't work it out between us, either side may take the matter to the courts in Los Angeles County, California, including small claims court where it fits.

Governing law

These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book applies to that job, and the written contract for your job takes priority if the two ever disagree.

If you have questions about anything here, call us at (424) 528-1317. We answer Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 9 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6 AM to 9 PM. You can also send us a message through our contact page, and we'll reply within 1 business day.
